what is ONE malaysia?

yup. new campaign. but i dun see anything being done and succeed in emphasizing ethnic harmony and national unity.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 — The new Istana Negara in Jalan Duta will now cost more than RM800 million, and not RM400 million as announced by the government in 2006.

Deputy Works Minister Datuk Yong Khoon Seng said the cost includes the construction of a new RM130 million flyover leading to the palace in Jalan Duta, and upgrading works on Jalan Changkat Semantan costing RM32.5 million.

people still sees us as 3rd world country with the HIGH crime rate, HIGH bribery and corruption, WEAK leadership that leads to WEAK government which SPENDS on UNNECESSARY things.

He said he was also shocked with the government’s reply that the projects were awarded through direct negotiations.

“This is against the principles of the New Economic Model. According to the Treasury, any procurement of more than RM200,000 must be made through open tender,” said Nga.

the current financial situation of our country isn't that stable,ballooning debts and all, they still wanna spent money like nobody's business?

is the current Istana not comfortable enuff? or not BIGGGGG enuff must spend another Rm 800 million?

this is crazy. imagine u work work work so hard, they tax tax tax so easily, and dump ur money in to build a HOME for someone unrelated to u? =.= angry anot? (i knw im not paying tax YET, but i duwan my money to be spent that way in the future!)


seriously don't think this is one of the ONE MALAYSIA project.
unless Agong planned to segregate some of his EXTRA SPACE in his new palace for homeless people.

another thing is,

Bernama reported HERE that Permata programme, the project that belongs to the PM's wife is getting RM100 million under the 2010 budget. The report said:

Exceptionally intelligent students should excel through the Permata Pintar programme that will be implemented by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in collaboration with the University of Johns Hopkins of the United States.

Elaborating, Rosmah, who is chairman of the National Permata Policy Executive Committee, said Malaysia needed a programme tailored for exceptionally smart children so that parents would stop sending them to other countries for education.

"If we don't come up with something now, these gifted children may end up working overseas when they grow up," she said, noting that such a situation would be a loss for Malaysia. (source : malaysia-today.net)

before accusing SMART malaysians for working overseas, pls think of what causes this.

unfair treatment? unfair distribution of places in local universities?
start treating us non-bumis fair instead of spending extravagance expenses which is ineffective.

then this is what u call ONE Malaysia.

Malaysia is goin bankrupt soon. please think of  where u want ur next home to be n start planning for a migration. *sigh*

for those who don't know me, i am doing my last paper of ACCA.
i was supposed to graduate like 2 sems ago. but i failed my stupid TAX paper, TWICE !  ( i was so close. i got 49 for my 1st sitting. if only i got another ONE more mark. =( markers are awful people with no sympathy. )


this time taking p5 (a management costing paper), 
i dun feel more confident at all.
instead, i felt so scared, cuz im so not familar with that paper. IT IS A STRANGER TO ME. 
i've only been to 6days of part time classes and one revision course with a imho not-so-impressive lecturer.


HOW IS THAT SUPPOSE TO HELP ME PASS? *omg 20 times*
whatever, the path had been chosen, and the only choice i have now,
is to WALK IT.


SERIOUS SHIT studies starts TMR!
no more playing a fool!
no more gossips (maybe once every 3 hrs?) :P
no more outings until FRIDAY !!!!!

had a date with my Baobei today... she was so kind to teman me for dinner n movie! =)

we watched Letters to Juliet. it was SO romantic.

both of us curi curi teared a lil in the cinema. *dramatic. ya i knw.

but it was really good. i'll rate 7/10? 

(dun come chasing after me if u think i overrated it. everyone has different taste, n so ngam, ying's taste sama dengan mine. =D )

yup. starring Amanda Seyfried (how do i pronounce this? i always hesitate when i wanna say her name)

and a quite handsome angmoh (Christopher Egan) as Charlie Wyman.

had the most embarrassing moment in the library when fiona's phone started ringing "raindrops keep falling on my head....." and we wasn't there to pick it up. 

so the ringtone went on with everyone starring at kamen n i.
